Future

At the start of my Final Bachelor Project, I was planning to leave the design field. I had already applied for a societal master’s in Utrecht. But halfway through, I felt fully re-engaged. Working on a socially-driven, interactive design reminded me how much joy I still get from designing. That realisation made me change course.

The Design for Interaction master at TU Delft feels like the right next step. I want to explore social theory and deepen my understanding of how design affects behaviour and interaction. During my FBP, I discovered how much I enjoy studying group dynamics and translating them into design decisions.

I’m especially drawn to the Design for Societal Challenges track. It aligns closely with my identity as a designer focused on co-creation, behaviour, and social impact. I want to work on complex problems that require collaboration, empathy, and systems thinking, while using interaction and aesthetics as tools for clarity and connection.

This master allows me to keep growing as a reflective designer who combines technical skill with social awareness. It’s a place where I can connect theory to practice and continue designing for people, meaning, and shared understanding.
