Amvro

PROJECT 1

The aim of our project was to create a product and system that increases the feasibility of biogas use in future smart cities. We focused on communities in the city of Eindhoven and how to make this system as user-friendly as possible. The aim was to incorporate the idea of caring about food waste and caring for the environment with a sense of community, with the help of incentives from biogas production. We want everyone to enjoy using the system and its products, and for it to fit seamlessly into today's society. It must help to raise awareness of our impact on the environment and that, with minimal effort and a well-designed system, you can start to reduce that impact.

We came up with AMVRO, a bin system where you could put your personal food waste and it would be turned into biogas. Each time you deposit your waste, you can make a donation to one of your favourite charities. This would be paid for out of the profits from the sale of the biogas.

Figure 2: Final video for the project where I lay my first foundation in the skills of animation and video editing

In this project, I played a key role in keeping our team on track. Since we were all close friends, maintaining focus was sometimes challenging, but I helped ensure that we stayed aligned with our goals and achieved the desired results.

Beyond project management, I contributed with my creative skills and eagerness to learn. I took the initiative to familiarize myself with various design tools, including Adobe InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, as well as animation in Procreate on the iPad (figure 2). This was the first time I used these programs and really enjoyed the proces

Additionally, I gained valuable experience with design sprint methods, which I still apply today. Through this project, I also discovered my passion for structuring and note-taking, which have since become essential aspects of my workflow.
